the Department of Emergency Management for Vernon County, Missouri. I am
your Emergency Management Director Dennis Kimrey.
Our purpose, "...to protect the
lives, property and the environment of Vernon County when major
disasters threaten public safety. Vernon County Emergency
Management responds to two types of disasters - natural and
manmade. Natural disasters are major snow and/or ice storms,
floods, tornadoes and/or severe weather. Manmade disasters, also
known as technological emergencies, may include hazardous
material incidents and other radiological hazards." |
